1. Product Development & Knowledge:
o Hands-on experience in developing agri-products like pesticides, fertilizers, and seeds.
o Knowledge of soil nutrition, crop requirements, and suitable remedies for pests, diseases, and weeds.
o Ability to innovate and improve and add on to the existing product lines so that we have all the required offer to the farmers.
2. Supply Chain & Vendor Management:
o Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and distributors.
o Ensure timely procurement plan so as to have all the required product available for farmers.
3. Business Expansion & Sales Growth:
o Develop and expand the existing sales network across Nepal.
o Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to increase market share.
4. Technical Expertise:
o In-depth understanding of Nepal’s topography and suitable seed varieties for different regions.
o Provide agronomic advice and solutions to farmers for better yield and pest/disease management.
5. Farmer Engagement & Support:
o Work closely with farmers to understand their challenges and provide effective solutions.
o Conduct training and awareness programs on best farming practices.
6. Quality Assurance & Innovation:
o Ensure high-quality standards in product development and supply.
o Drive R&D initiatives to develop new and improved agri-products.
7. Team Leadership & Relationship Building:
o Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, dealers, and government bodies.
o Lead and mentor the sales and technical team to achieve business goals.
Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture, or related field.
