*Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Master’s degree but not mandatory
*Experience: 3 years of experience as a SYSTEM ENGINEER or relevant positions

-Responsibilities:

1. Own and resolve complex production incidents across applications, Kubernetes, cloud, networking, and virtualization layers
2. Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident resolution and post-incident reviews
3. Design and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability across infrastructure and services
4. Automate operational tasks using Python, Go, Bash, and CI/CD pipelines
5. Perform capacity planning across cloud, Kubernetes, and virtualized environments
6. Collaborate with development teams to design highly available, performant systems
7.Apply SRE best practices such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets

-Skills:

1. 5+ years of production experience with Linux systems
2. Strong experience supporting large-scale web or SaaS platforms
3. Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, Java, C/C++, or Ruby
4. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production
5. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and traffic flows
6. Experience with KVM-based virtualization and Linux hypervisors
7. Working knowledge of OpenStack private cloud environments
8. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
9. Experience operating systems in AWS (preferred) or other public clouds
10. Understanding of distributed systems and failure modes

-Monitoring, Automation & Tooling:

1.Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or similar
2. CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD
3.Configuration management and automation: Ansible, Bash, Python, Go
4. Version control using Git

-Networking, Virtualization & Cloud:

1. Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S,
2. TLS, proxies, and load balancing
3. Experience debugging network performance issues and traffic routing
4. Experience with KVM, hypervisors, and VM performance tuning
5. Familiarity with OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder)
6. Knowledge of oversubscription, NUMA, and capacity management strategies

2. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
3. Ownership mindset and bias toward automation
4. Comfortable working with globally distributed teams
