-Key Responsibilities
1. Hub & Operational Management
● Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hub and ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
● Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, operational procedures, policies, and quality standards.
● Monitor hub performance and take corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
● Coordinate with the Central and Regional Teams to improve processes and resolve operational challenges.
● Ensure proper utilization and organization of hub space for efficient package handling and storage.
● Receive incoming packages and verify the accuracy of shipment information.
● Ensure proper sorting, scanning, handling, and dispatch of packages.
● Coordinate the handover of Inside Valley-bound shipments to transportation partners and Buddha Air, where applicable.
● Create orders in Hermes and 3PL systems and ensure accurate printing and placement of shipment labels/stickers
2. Delivery Operations & Fleet Management
● Recruit, onboard, and train delivery personnel in accordance with company requirements.
● Ensure delivery personnel understand and comply with company policies, SOPs, safety guidelines, and service standards.
● Assign pickup agents to collect packages from merchants/vendors.
● Monitor delivery personnel performance and ensure timely completion of assigned deliveries.
● Address delivery personnel concerns, operational queries, and disciplinary matters fairly and promptly.
● Monitor fleet and delivery operations and identify opportunities for improving productivity and efficiency.
● Provide regular updates to management on fleet performance, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
3. Cash, COD & Parcel Reconciliation
● Reconcile and collect COD amounts and returned products from delivery personnel.
● Verify cash collections against the relevant delivery records and system information.
● Update delivery sheets with the required delivery status and payment information.
● Ensure timely submission of collected cash to the Accounts Team. ● Maintain proper records of COD collections, returns, and outstanding amounts.
● Follow up on discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
4. Reporting & Performance Management
● Prepare and submit regular hub performance reports to the Regional and Central Teams.
● Monitor key operational metrics such as: ○ On-time delivery rate ○ Completion rate ○ Delivery productivity ○ Pickup performance ○ COD reconciliation ○ Return performance ○ Shipment processing time
● Identify operational gaps and implement corrective measures in coordination with the relevant teams.
5. Merchant Acquisition & Relationship Management
● Conduct market research to identify potential merchants and new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
● Approach and onboard potential merchants by communicating the benefits and services offered by Pathao.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
● Understand merchant requirements and coordinate internally to address their operational concerns.
● Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with merchants within the authority and guidelines provided by the company.
● Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities to increase shipment volume and business growth.
● Maintain accurate records of prospective and acquired merchants.
6. Team Management & Coordination
● Supervise hub staff and delivery personnel to ensure effective execution of daily responsibilities.
● Conduct regular briefings and communicate operational priorities, targets, and updates to the team.
● Foster a professional, accountable, and customer-focused work environment.
● Coordinate effectively with the Central Team, Regional Team, Accounts, Transportation, Merchant Support, and other relevant departments.
● Escalate critical operational issues to the appropriate management level in a timely manner
