JD:
provide leadership and direction to the accounts & finance department
To ensure timely preparation of monthly/ quarterly/annual financial statements portraying true and correct picture of the company
To manage risk and supervise cash management and receivables management.
To monitor daily transactions relating to accounting and finance
To develop a financial strategy and investigate ways to improve profitability
To prepare cost sheets and do product costing
To coordinate auditing of financial statements
Liaison with blanks
To develop and manage financial systems/Policies
To oversee the company’s investment activities
To analyze the financial data and provide input to the Board as a financial advisor
Monitor day-to-day operation of accounts & Finance department.
Receive MIS reports from different departments and consolidate them
Create and maintain a calendar to inform all department heads of the deadline for submitting MIS reports
Monitor and ensure the compliance of all accounting standards or internal policies and relevant statutory acts and regulations
Help in the credit control unit to reconcile the accounts of debtors
