Job Description:
Responsibilities for Operational HOD’s performance.
• Reviewing and evaluating performance against the targets of the team members.
• Identifying and addressing deviations and its relevant causes.
• Monitoring and ensuring operational goals are met by all departments.
• Conduct daily, monthly meetings to review operational performance of the month.
• Establishing MIS in critical areas to help reporting and problem solving.
• Ensuring seamless information flow.
• To be responsible for implementing quality systems.
• To ensure that standards requirement is kept up with ISO/ NABL/ JCIA
• To ensure documentation requirement as per Quality standards
• Standard operating procedures
• Technical manuals
• Organization Policies
• Organization plans
• To be a part of Quality initiatives and bring out Organizational improvement.
• To periodically conduct audits as per standard expectation.
• To prepare and callout calendar for annual events of Quality improvement and safety
activities.
• To be responsible for timely CA and PA for any deficiencies observed in Quality system.
• To prepare annual report to the board.
• To ensure all committee meetings are held as per frequency and also co-ordinate for review
of annual performance
• To identify areas for improvement through regular interaction/ monitoring the process.
• To do timely reporting of data as required. To set priorities for quality improvement and guide departmental heads in achieving the same.
• Risk assessment and reduction activities
• Lead Business and Operations of the Hospital, Responsible Head operation responsibility
for Operations and Administration of about 150 bedded Cancer Hospital
• Overseeing daily Hospital operation such as IP, OP & Billing services including cash &
Credit, F&B, Housekeeping, Security & Transportation.
• Effective manpower utilization and initiate war on waste.
• Overseeing patient services both Domestic & International.
• Implement & ensure sustenance of new initiatives such as Paperless and filmless hospital.
• Ensure Grooming standards are maintained across all departments.
• Planning, organizing and managing all operation services of the hospital.
• Evaluating performance productivity of reporting staff.
• Work in close collaboration with clinical & non-Clinical functions to ensure delivery of
world class Healthcare services.
• Identifying and exploring ways and initiatives to control cost and generate revenue.
• To ensure 100% compliance with statutory, statistical and safety standards.
• Responsible for overseeing and implementing Patient Feedback Process and conduct
regular patient feedback analysis.
• Develops and implements policies, procedures and best practices in the administration of
hospital with reference to corporate services, medical insurance.
• Oversee all training and continuing education for staff.
• Assures that facility is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
• Liaises with departments for smooth running of the facility.
• Conducting Morning huddle and updating the CEO on daily basis regarding the MOM.
• Maintaining the daily SLM tracker and sharing it to relevant departments based on CEO’s
approval.
• Conducting Facility rounds including IP, OP along with MS and update the CEO on any
findings on daily basis.
• Monitors the training and development of team, and administering disciplinary actions as
needed.
• Creates and implements a best practice program, maintaining a consistent level of quality of
care offered to patients.Regular daily meetings with Administrator, Non-medical Administrator and Nursing
superintendent through whom carries out regular day to day management.
• Ensures that the process needed for the quality management system are implemented and
maintained in the hospital.
• Monitors quality assurance programs and mock drills concerned with the safety and other
quality control initiatives.
• Oversee practice of evidence-based medicine, safety initiatives, quality assurance,
Improving clinical performance and implementation of JCIA standards in medical staff.
• Any other responsibility as deemed fit from time to time by Management as per the
organogram
