-Responsibilities of Logistics Incharge:

Plan, organize, and oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor and maintain stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Prepare and maintain logistics-related documents such as delivery challans, invoices, transport bills, and dispatch records.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and packaging of materials to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
Optimize delivery routes and transportation costs for maximum efficiency.
Track shipments and update relevant departments regarding delivery status.
Supervise loading and unloading operations to ensure accuracy and safety.
Handle customs, clearance, and freight forwarding activities (if applicable).
Maintain coordination with the accounts department for vendor payments and freight cost tracking.
Implement safety and compliance procedures related to logistics and transport.
Train and guide logistics staff or drivers for smooth and efficient operations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports for management review.
Manage and maintain company vehicles, fuel usage, and route planning.
Resolve logistics-related issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
