Conduct quality checks on raw milk, in-process products, and finished dairy products.
Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests (FAT, SNF, acidity, adulteration, etc.).
Monitor product shelf life, storage conditions, and cold chain compliance.
Maintain records of test results and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO, FSSAI/DFTQC as applicable).
Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices in production and processing areas.
Assist in internal and external quality audits.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality deviations.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality consistency.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Approve or reject raw materials and finished products based on quality standards.
Maintain QC logs, test records, batch records, and SOP documentation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Support traceability and product recall procedures if required.
Train production staff on quality standards, hygiene, and food safety practices.
Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement within the plant.
