*Position: Sr. SALES OFFICER/ SALES OFFICER

*Location: Kalanki, Kathmandu
*Education: Bachelor in Management
*Experience: 2-3 Years of experience as a Sales Officer in Food/Bakery/ or FMCG industry
-Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide Distributor Sales Executives (DSEs)/Merchandisers to ensure they follow daily beat plans, achieve targets, and execute visibility and availability strategies.
• Plan, assign, and track field activities, ensuring disciplined market execution and performance monitoring.
• Regularly track and review the number of customers billed vs. unbilled, identify gaps, and guide the team to ensure coverage improvement.
• Directly manage order collection and system punching from traders, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Ensure timely payment follow-ups and work towards reducing outstanding dues from traders and channel partners.
• Focus on increasing the number of SKUs billed per customer, and drive product mix improvement through targeted guidance and follow-up with the field team.
• Conduct regular market visits to meet traders, retailers, and distributors across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels to strengthen relationships and monitor ground-level execution.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments like logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth fulfillment and billing cycles.
• Maintain up-to-date sales reports, market intelligence, and feedback for management review.
-Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in sales operations / FMCG / distribution management
• Knowledge of General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels
• Good understanding of sales tracking, order management, and reporting systems
• Ability to analyze sales data (billing vs. coverage, SKU mix, etc.)
• Strong coordination skills with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams
• Good communication and negotiation skills for dealing with traders and distributors
• Willingness to travel frequently for market visits
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic sales software
