– Job Responsibilities:
1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
2. Collect quotations, prepare comparative analysis, and negotiate terms with suppliers.
3. Create and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
4. Maintain updated procurement records, including pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
5. Monitor inventory levels in coordination with store/inventory teams and initiate purchase requisitions accordingly.
6. Track deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays with vendors.
7. Ensure timely procurement of critical materials without stock outs or production delays.
8. Collaborate with finance to ensure proper documentation for payments and vendor reconciliation.
9. Ensure procurement compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
10. Assist in annual procurement planning and budgeting based on consumption data.
Key Skills and Competencies
11. Knowledge of procurement software, inventory management tools, and ERP systems.
12. Familiarity with local vendor markets and logistics coordination.
