Job Responsibility
• Manage stock and inventory, ensuring accurate records and regular reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking and coordinate replenishment.
• Oversee the procurement process, including verifying purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms for procurement.
• Record and reconcile daily sales, cash, and bank transactions.
• Prepare reconciliation statements for bank accounts, stock, and vendor accounts.
• Generate periodic financial reports, including sales summaries and stock movement reports.
• Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.
• Maintain documentation for audits and support the audit process.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard store assets.
• Collaborate with store managers, warehouse staff, and the finance team to streamline operations.
• Address and resolve financial discrepancies and operational issues.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for store operations.
• Continuously review and improve accounting processes for accuracy and efficiency.
