“VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT” SR.DevOps Engineers for IT Company ( Cloud Based) in Lalitpur,Nepal.
-Details:
*Position: SR. DevOps Engineers (Remote).
*Salary: Negotiable.
*Location: Lalitpur,Nepal.
*Education: At least bachelor complete in IT or relevant field.
*Experience: At least 3-4 year’s of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
     Roles and responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Management:
* Manage AWS/OCI cloud resources, including load balancers, containers, and VPC configurations
using IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation
* Configure and maintain Nginx web-based and socket-based setups for optimal performance and
reliability.
* Implemented and troubleshot networking setups, including cross-VPC connectivity and secure
communications.
2. Certificate Management:
* Handle server and client certificates, including creation, renewal, and distribution.
* Manage Certificate Authority (CA) for internal and external services.
* Work with clients to ensure smooth certificate handovers and support.
3. CI/CD and Automation:
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for production and non-production environments.
* Eliminate manual deployment processes by fully automating application deployments.
4. Monitoring & Alerting:
* Enhance dashboard visualization using tools like Grafana and AWS CloudWatch.
5. Collaboration:
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD workflows into the development
lifecycle.
* Work with the LDAP and AD team to integrate secure authentication mechanisms.
6. Kubernetes & Containerization:
* Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production and non-production
environments.
* Optimize Kubernetes workloads, scaling, and network policies.
* Manage container orchestration tools like Helm for application deployment.
7. AWS Cloud Management:
* Configure and maintain AWS resources such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Load Balancers, and VPCs.
* Implement AWS SFTP solutions for secure file transfers and automate configurations.
* Manage identity and access management (IAM), networking, and security in AWS
-Qualifications:
* CS or equivalent degree
Technical Skills:
* Nginx:
o Expertise in Nginx web server configurations, load balancing, and reverse proxy setups.
o Knowledge of socket-based configurations and troubleshooting.
* Cloud Platforms:
o Hands-on experience with AWS (Load Balancers, ECS, VPC, S3) and OCI.
o Familiarity with setting up and managing AWS SFTP and custom identity-based authentication.
* Certificate Management:
o Proficiency in managing server and client certificates.
o Experience with Certificate Authority (CA) tools and best practices.
* Automation & Scripting:
o Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.
o Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
* CI/CD:
o Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (.g.e, GitHub Actions).
o Knowledge of deployment automation and artifact management.
o Multi-account and multi-environment deployment
* Monitoring & Logging:
o Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, and log aggregation tools.
o Ability to create and maintain dashboards and alerts.
* Kubernetes:
o In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and ecosystem.
o Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Helm.
* AWS Cloud:
o Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, VPC, S3, EC2, SFTP, CloudFormation).
o Proficiency in setting up cloud networking, security groups, and IAM policies
