*Experience: 5 Years of experience as a Production Supervisor or Manager in Manufacturing Industry

– 1. Production Planning & Execution
Develop, review, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer orders and inventory targets.
Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Sales teams to manage raw material availability (base oils, additives, packaging) and finished goods inventory.
Monitor batch production of lubricant blends, ensuring correct formulations, blend ratios, and filling accuracies.
Manage production KPIs including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), throughput, batch cycle times, and yield rates.
2. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all products meet internal specifications and international standards.
Collaborate closely with the QC laboratory to address batch failures, deviations, and non-conformances through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain and enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP compliance across all production areas.
3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and MSDS/SDS protocols.
Conduct regular safety walks, hazard identification, and risk assessments for blending, filling, and warehousing operations.
Investigate near-misses and incidents; implement corrective and preventive measures in a timely manner.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in line with environmental regulations.
4. Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of shift supervisors, process operators, and technicians.
Plan manpower allocation, manage shift rosters, and ensure adequate staffing for production continuity.
Conduct performance appraisals, set SMART objectives, and support succession planning for key production roles.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and team engagement.
5. Equipment, Maintenance & Reliability
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for blenders, pumps, filling lines, reactors, filtration systems, and storage tanks.
Coordinate with the Maintenance department to minimize unplanned downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Identify equipment upgrades and capital investment needs to improve capacity and efficiency.
6. Cost Control & Efficiency
Manage the production budget, monitor costs against targets, and identify opportunities for waste reduction and yield improvement.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational efficiency.
Analyze production data and generate reports on output, losses, rework, and resource consumption for management review.
7. Regulatory & Documentation
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of batch records, logbooks, production registers, and digital MES/ERP entries.
Prepare and submit production performance reports, variance analyses, and improvement plans to senior management.
Stay updated on industry regulations, product standards, and best practices relevant to lubricant manufacturing.
– REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline. (Essential)
Master’s degree in Engineering Management, MBA, or related field.
Professional certifications in Production/Operations Management (e.g., CPIM, APICS) are advantageous.

5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
