“VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT” QC OFFICER for Food/Oil Industry in Lipni, Birgunj.

*Location: Lipni, Birgunj
*Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
*Experience: 2 years of experience as an QC Executive in edible oil, food processing, FMCG or manufacturing industry
-Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sampling and testing of crude, intermediate, and finished edible oil products.
• Conduct laboratory analyses including FFA, Moisture, Peroxide Value, Color, Soap Content, and other quality parameters.
• Monitor refining processes such as Degumming, Neutralization, Bleaching, Deodorization, and Fractionation.
• Ensure products comply with company specifications, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and report off-specification products and process deviations.
• Issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) and maintain quality records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support implementation of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other food safety systems.
• Participate in internal audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and compliance with laboratory safety procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
-Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in edible oil, food processing, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Knowledge of edible oil refining processes and quality control practices.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and quality documentation.
